Editing conventions
Use the docuwiki manual for instructions about how to edit this wiki.
- Think about how other people may use this wiki before making changes.
- The easiest way to create a new page is set up the navigation for it first.
- For dates for minutes no hyphens - for example Minutes 8 August 2017 Rockdale Library RISG - this format of Minutes date library name and working group name for the minutes means that it will be clear who the minutes belong to, not matter how the page was reached.
- To embed video and slideshare - select 'insert video from video sharing sites' enter the url for the site.
- For seminars working group name should be part of navigation title, unless the seminar has a distinctive title and it will be obvious which working group it belongs to.
- The working group name should be part of navigation title in most situations.
About the Local Studies working group
The local studies working group has two meetings a year. One in Sydney and one in another part of NSW. These meetings are hybrid. To host a meeting you need to be able provide good onsite and online facilities. An example set up (which worked very well) is shown in the photograph below which is the set up for the Shellharbour City Library and online meeting. Note the large screen, separate laptop, webcam on tripod, and separate (round) microphone for sound for the online participants.
