Lithgow is a regional city just West of the Blue Mountains. Our LGA has a population of over 22000 residents in various towns and villages throughout a large geographical area. Our Home Library Services has 107 current ( active within the last 3 years) members with 60 members who received the service in the last month.

We issue over 700 items per month including cd's, talking books, magazines, large and regular print fiction and non-fiction. Prior to the demise of our compactus we alsoregularly selected items from the stack by request. Roughly half of our current users are in Nursing homes while the other half are still in their own homes.
