We all know that it can be hard to find the time to keep up to date with the latest news and reviews. These resources will help keep you in the loop: Once a Week Early Word - a U.S. site with a new title radar, that also examines bestseller lists and books being made into films. Newsletter subscriptions - eg. Lovereading - British and the Book House - Australian books in all genres, Fiction and Non-Fiction Once a Month Good Reading magazine - held by most public libraries, this magazine offers short, starred reviews over a wide range of genres. Librarians Choice: Each month Librarians' Choice brings the top 10 new release books as voted by Australian Library staff. All genres and subjects of adult books -both fiction and non-fiction, can be nominated. Currently, Librarians' Choice is only for adult titles. Library Reads - Every month this group of US based librarians publishes a list of 10 new books that they have loved. It reviews a diverse mix of books, from literary fiction, to romance and crime. You can subscribe to their newsletter, or follow them on social media. Novelist updates - newsletters (subscribe and a short newsletter with a different genre focus is delivered every two months), blog (occasional short posts showing good practice examples from different libraries) .. Once a Year Good Reads Choice Awards - every year Good Reads asks its members to vote for their favorite books in a range of genres. This is a great way to see which books have been popular with readers. Twitter Even if you don't want to post to Twitter, this is a quick and easy way to stay up to date with bookish news. Try:
