3.30pm: Round Table share

What is happening in your library: Phillip from City of Ryde brought a copy of their newsletter and shared it with the group. As a part of his role he designed the Newsletter from the Outlook Calendar and gets printed as a A-3 document and gets printed monthly Lydie from City of Sydney told us that earlier they had a printed newsletter which now has evolved into an E-newsletter which get sent to library members who signed up for it and it is also available on the desks as a pdf file which is printed only on demand. Melanie told us that at the Hornsby Library the events get included in the rates notice sent by the council Steph from Wollongong said that they are working on a Calendar as well. Lisa from Georges River talked about how the amalgamation has created a different environment now and she was working on combining the 2 e-resources collection into one and the system is being harmonised into one. They seem to have an in-house designer for the Council and they have to send the requests earlier to meet their deadlines. Rebecca from Ku-ring-gai Library talked about her role in organizing the e-newsletter. Ku-ring-gai does not have printed newsletter.
