Welcome

Working Group Business Jess Miller from Goody Two Shoes was engaged to work with us on developing a social media strategy which was easy to implement without costing a lot of money. Jess Miller presented to the group in early February 2014. There was discussion regarding the content and administration needed for the campaign to work and also the need to develop an overarching strategy. It was felt that the journey between the strategy developed by Jess Miller and the Facebook commitment was missing The long term goal of the campaign would be to change perceptions of Libraries. Discussion continued on the strength of the creative content, intellectual property of IRL, development of partnerships and where to move from this point.

Social Media implementation Plan Eric from Randwick distributed a paper (attached) on the Goody Two Shoes Presentation and discussion ensued. ACTION: everyone is to read the presentation from Goody Two Shoes. Any questions/thoughts need to be posted on the Facebook page (Secret Society of Social Librarians) within a month, and then the subcommittee to meet in 6 weeks.
