E-books and Readers' Advisory
“I can appreciate the benefits of this new technology but I just don't like the idea of my reading being out of the ordinary”.
- A comment by a library patron to me when I was discussing the benefits of e-readers for those with reading disabilities. This highlights to me the work that needs to be done to make e-Books part of the ordinary reading experience. So what might be the role of RA in a library environment in which more and more forms as well as genres are being created and made available to the readers of the world?
