Campbelltown City Library - Home Library Service Profile
We currently have 165 patrons on the service about half are in nursing homes we have 4 aged care facilities who we individually delivered to. Our deliveries are done fortnightly and we deliver over 15,000 items annually being Normal print, large print, CDTB, magazines,DVD's and CD's We have just reintroduced Audio read Navigators to our patrons and we are trialing the new machines. We have 4 sets of volunteers who deliver our material to individual patrons in their own homes, the rest are delivered by library staff to nursing homes. There are 2 full time staff that work in home library 1 Library Technician Full time and 1 Library Assistant Part time. We use most of our material from the main library collection, HLS do have a small collection of our own which is used for some patrons.
