2022 reference seminar online

Note the seminar will be 100% online.

This day will have online speakers and activities for all. The seminar will be recorded for later viewing. You can book here. Participation is for NSW public library staff.

Our Reference Seminar is happening again this year on Tuesday 24 May 2022 9.30am - 4.00pm online

There are exciting speakers to inspire you:

  • Dr Nicole A Cooke (online) - is the Augusta Baker Endowed Chair and an Associate Professor at the School of Library and Information Science, at the University of South Carolina
  • Nick Tanzi (online) - Library Technology Consultant, Assistant Director of the South Huntington Public Library in Suffolk County, NY
  • Corey Tutt (online) - Founder/CEO/ Director of Deadly Science

We still have spaces in our 5 minute talks - What is your library doing in the wide world of Reference? Do you have a new service or quirky program occurring to encourage your community to borrow from the Nonfiction area? Have you done a Escape Room highlighting your collection? What has changed now COVID restrictions have eased?

This day will be a mix of online and onsite speakers and activities for all.
