The Librarian Reserve Corps (LRC)  were established in March 2020 in response to the growing COVID-19 epidemic and an identified need to capture quality health information. This presentation provides an overview of LRC and how it works with GOARN and WHO to provide “swift emergency response”. 11.00 - 11.40 Colin Klein, Professor in the School of Philosophy at the Australian National University will be speaking about the differences between mis/dis/malinformation and how to identify them, knowledge that is critical in the current climate. Colin will also discuss ways librarians can best provide assistance and education to the people in their communities by helping them become more aware and critical of the information surrounding them every day.
