=== Working Group planning ===
A planning discussion came up with the following priorities for the working group for the year ahead:

  * 4 meetings to be held per year
  * Meetings will focus on PreBook Week Extravaganza, early literacy, tweens and youth
  * meetings that are held at a public library will involve staff from that library to chair the meeting, take the minutes and assist with planning the meeting 
  * attendees at meetings are requested to feedback information to their Managers about discussions etc. at the meetings 
 
=== Priorities/focus for upcoming meetings ===
  * technology: equipment, programs, skills - tentatively to be held at Camden
  * young adult: youth agencies, high schools, relationships, marketing, measure success, in library use, connecting with youth, pop culture - tentatively to be held at Bankstown
  * Book Week Extravaganza - to be held at the State Library on 7 June (TBC)
 

The discussion also identified current services for young people in public libraries and the strengths in current programming / needs of the working group members / skills staff need to have
