 **Zara Page - Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) UNSW**
 Zara spoke to the group about the current research into dementia. It is estimated that by 2058 there will be more than 1 million sufferers. It is the second leading cause of death in Australia and this will impact on the Australian healthcare system.

 **State Library Marketing revamp- Abby**
 Abby is overseeing the revamp of the bookmarks and signage produced for multicultural services by the SLNSW. Please email Abby with any feedback, suggestions, or comments. Do libraries still use banners? We could design new banners if required this would include changing the current colour scheme of yellow to another suitable colour and ensuring all signage is bilingual.

 There is a collection of over 200 titles in German available on Indyreads. Other languages are available such as Spanish but to date there aren’t many titles available in languages such as Arabic, Greek and Hindi.

 •	The Multicultural Engagement Conference will be held on the 27th of October at Parramatta.
