 Once you have decided on the books your library will be featuring for Book Week, check who published them. Here is a list of {{ :wiki:publisher_permissions_2021.xlsx |publisher contacts}}. If you need a sample permission request letter see the {{ :wiki:fetch.php_media_bookweek_form_letter_for_publisher_permissions_2019.docx |template}}, and email a letter to them on your library’s letterhead. In the letter, list the books by that publisher that you will be using, also list the activities you will be doing as part of your Book Week promotion. Do this ASAP! Some publishers will take 6 weeks or more to respond.
