  • What are their hours and conditions of access?
  • What resources do they hold?
  • Note: you may want to arrange a group visit to other local resources.

First Contact

  • Are you familiar with the workings of equipment in your family history section?
  • Spend an hour learning how they work, preferably with an experienced staff member. If no-one is available, challenge yourself to learn the workings of the equipment available.
